BSA CT Rivers Council Headquarters ^top 
The Connecticut Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America maintains an office at 60 Darlin Street, East Hartford, CT 06128. The office is open Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 
The office is closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday), and Christmas.


Airline Trail - Salmon River Trout Management Area Hike and Bike Ride ^top 
Directions to parking area of park that leads to Airline Trail:
Starting at the Red Light in center of town going towards Marlborough Congregational Church (South Main Street). Approx. 8/10ths of a mile, take a right hand turn onto South Road. (Towards Farley Field.)
Go Approx 1. 1 miles on South road at this point (Past Farley Field). Will pass Flood Road on right hand side, pass this and keep going down steep hill come to stop sign. Proceed straight.
Approx 1.9 miles at this point. You will pass Hartford County 4H on left hand side. Keep going straight about 4/10ths of a mile left to go. You should see a Wood Sign for park on right hand side.
Will say Salmon River Trout Management Area. At this point, turn right into park and Approx 2/1Oths of a mile will be parking area on right hand side.
Should take about Ten Minutes to get there.

Devil's Hopyard - East Haddam ^top 
Route 2 East to Route 11 South. At the end of Route 11, turn right (west) on Route 82. Approximately 3 miles until Hopyard Road on right. Turn right on Hopyard Road (north), approximately 2 miles to park.

From the center of town (Red Light), follow RT 66 towards Hebron (East), changes to Rt. 6 East, Take Route 195 north approximately 2.5 miles to Route 89. Turn right onto Route 89 and travel approximately 8 miles to Route 44. Turn right on Route 44 and travel approximately 1 mile to the camp entrance, which is on the left.


Camp Hemlocks, Hebron - Easter Seals website ^top 
From the center of town (Red Light), follow RT 66 towards Hebron and turn onto Burrows Hill Road, which turns into Jones Street. Travel 2 miles. There is a large sign out by the road, "Hemlocks Recreation Center". The main office of Easter Seals of Connecticut is located at the camp, which, if you continue down the drive is approximately 300 ft. away.

From points west via Route 2 & 32 - Take exit 28-S to Interstate 395 South. Take exit 80 and at the stop light turn left onto Route 82 East. Follow this for about 1/2 mile. Make a right turn onto New London Turnpike and the rink will be 1/2 mile ont he right.

Heading east on Rt. 2, take exit 23. At end of ramp, go straight onto Route 163 south. Follow approx. 1.25 miles. Turn right onto Bishop Road follow road 1½ mile to entrance to camp. (Also "Bear Swamp Road")  (25 Min.)


Camp Workcoeman, Winsted  ^top 
From Hartford: Take Route 44 West to Winsted. Turn left onto Route 183 South and travel about 4 miles. Turn left onto West Hill Road. Follow camp signs. (There are several routes to 44 West in Highway: Rt2W to 84W to Rt4W to Rt10N to Rt44W in Avon)
